WHAT DOES IT DO?

 

Driveway sealing is a process where a protective coating (sealant) is applied to the surface of your driveway to protect the material underneath. The aim of the driveway sealant is to preserve, stabilise and protect it from stains such as oil, grease, accidental spillages etc. There are many types of sealant on the market these days, but from our experience Resi block is the best and the market leader. You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to sealant. Resi block sealants will stabilise the kiln dried within the joints of the block paving and make it go ROCK HARD, prohibiting the growth of weeds through the joints of your block paved driveway.

Resi blocks have some fantastic sealant on the market, including wet look, high gloss, matt finish, etc. And all there there sealants stabilise the sand as standard, many over sealant will NOT do this. So head over to Resi blocks now for information.

APPLICATION

​

Some sealant can be sprayed, but ultimately the correct method is brush and roller. Using the brush to cut in the edges and long pile masonry roller to apply the sealant, we simple roll out the sealant onto the block paved driveway. Making sure it doesn't dry out and keep a wet edge going at all times. We do not want any stripes down your lovely driveway. We always check the weather conditions for rain before and after applying the sealant as we also don't want it to wash out do we.
